Schools receive collected donations on a first come first serve basis.
For example, if a school needs playground equipment for $250,000, once unfunded collects the full $250,000, unfunded will transfer donations to their campaign.
Once the campaigner makes an account, you login to your profile page and click the blue 'Connect with Stripe' button. Follow the prompts that will allow the campaigner to connect their bank account to the campaign. Once a donation is made, the campaigner can login to their Stripe account and click on the payout button to transfer funds to their linked bank account.
Click on "Campaigns" and click on the campaign you would like to directly donate to. Unfunded will support the remaining funds.
Yes. Log back into your account and go to your Campaign Dashboard.
Donations are tax-deductible, with the exception of associated fees.
All donations are non-refundable.
There are only three requirements for a school to campaign:
1. Must be a Public School.
2. Campaign is supporting a upgrade/modification to the school/campus.
3. Campaign asks are capped at $2M.
With each donation, unfunded takes a 5% platform fee + transaction fee of 2.9% + .30 cents.
For example, a donor donates $20. $1 of the platform fee (5%) + .88 cents of the transaction fee will be taken out, leaving $18.12 for the collected donation.
